In an interview with Anadolu Agency (AA), our research on identifying Turkish usage errors made by non-native speakers was introduced, and we shared insights about our projects.
Led by Prof. Dr. Gülşen Eryiğit, our research team developed an AI-supported study focused on identifying the most common mistakes non-native speakers make while learning Turkish. This work helps teachers analyze the challenges their students face and provides recommendations to improve language learning processes. Additionally, it sets a foundation for establishing an international standard in language education with the error taxonomy created.
